Garth Hoffmann has been trekking through and photographing the wilderness areas of the western United States for over 20 years. He was captivated by the outdoors as a child and hasn’t looked back.

Though he enjoyed growing up in Anaheim, California, home of Disneyland, he yearned to be surrounded by the grandeur and majesty of God’s creation and spent time in Yosemite and Yellowstone where he started developing a love for photography and painting. In 2001, Garth and his wife Debbie moved to the Seattle, Washington, area, where they reveled in the natural beauty and Garth worked in earnest on his painting technique and photography.

Now living in the big-sky-and-sunshine country of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Garth and Debbie have made many excursions into the Rocky Mountains and beyond.
